Asian Beef StewIngredients:1 1/2 lb beef chuck, cut into 1 inch cubes
32 cloves garlic
1 small onion
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 to 3 hot chilies, seeded and sliced
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1 1/2 tsp ground coriander
2 cups water
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 tsp lemon zest
salt and pepper to taste Directions:Blend in a processor the garlic, onion, ginger, chilies, turmeric, coriander and 1/2 cup water. Pour sauce over the beef and marinate for 1 hour. Heat canola oil in a large pan and brown beef. Then add marinade, green onions, lemon zest and remaining water. Simmer until meat is tender, approximately 1 hour.
